OF
DREAMS
Here are two short notes about dreams. One defines them. It
says a dream can be described as a series of images, thoughts, desires, or
emotions that pass through our mind. It’s a wonderful thing we can create in
our imagination, most often related to our future. It’s something we wish and
hope to achieve someday. It is aspirational other than tangible.
The other note claims that a dream doesn’t become reality
through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. All our dreams can
come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
American poet Langston Hughes (1901-1967) says:
I hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow
