SCATTERED
THOUGHTS
*Answer To A Child’s Question.
Do you ask what the birds say? The sparrow
the dove,
The linnet and thrush say, “I love
and I love!”
In the winter they’re silent ----the
wind is so strong;
What it says, I don’t know, but it
sings a loud song.
But green leaves, and blossoms, and sunny,
warm weather,
And singing, and loving ---all come
back together.
But the lark is so brimful of
gladness and love,
The green fields below him, the blue
sky above,
That he sings, and he sings; for ever
sings he-----
“I love my Love, my Love loves me!”
Note: The author of this poem is the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge
(1772-1834). The concluding line is the answer to the child’s question. “
I love my Love(mistress) , my Love loves me, which means love is a two-sided mutual affair.
*Man’s love is of man’s life; it is
woman’s whole existence. ------The English poet George Gordon Lord Byron (1778-1824).
Note: “Love is about purposeful,
conscious experience, embracing emotions, growth, and connection (thriving,
while existence is mere the state of being real or surviving.
*To be with trees and plants is beautiful because they go on growing, they
become an impetus, an inspiration,
and the whole energy is flowing upwards with the growth, You cannot remain low,
you have to go high. If you are alert, then farming can turn you on as no drug
can ever do.-------Indian mystic Acharya Rajneesh popularly known as OSHO
(1931-1990).
Note: OSHO is a progressive mystic.
His thoughts are lofty. He discards stagnant pools and welcomes running rivers.
Up, not down, is his clarion call.
