EQUALITY
Equality is defined as parity, similarity, uniformity,
evenness, sameness , etc. Equality before law has no exception. All humans are
said to be equal but they are not. Some are superior to others. Moreover, all
humans are not born with the same fate. Only a few are born with a silver spoon
in their mouth. Most of the children are born of poor parents. Whether poverty
is God-made or man-made is a disputable question. Had it been God-made, it
wouldn’t have been there. Economic
differences are man-made. They are due to socio-political laws.
Given below are some general views about equality.
1.All men
are by nature equal, made, all, of the same earth by the same Creator, and
however we deceive ourselves , as dear to God is the poor peasant as the mighty
prince.
2.It is not
true that equality is a law of nature.---Nature has no equality---Its sovereign
law is subordination and dependence.
3. Some must
follow, and some command, though all are made of clay.
4. Men are
by nature unequal. It is vain, therefore, to treat them as if they were equal.
5, So far is
it from being true that men are naturally equal, that no two people can be half
an hour together but one shall acquire an evident superiority over the other.
