By youth is meant young men and young women. The United Nations , for statistical purposes, defines ‘youth’
as those persons between the ages 15 and 24 years, without prejudice to other
definitions by Member States. This is not a satisfactory definition.
Youth ends when middle age begins from around 45 to around 65
years.
